Try this Nervous System Regulation texhnique!
First: Assess. Turn your head right and left and notice uour range of motion. Guage your ROM by what you can see.
Next: with your eyes open, place your hands over your eyes to eliminate and cut out as much light as possible. Keeping your eyes open, take several cleansing breaths.

This one really is the quickest way out of stress, and I LOVE how Huberman brought it to the mainstream! It’s similar to some patterns in Pranayama and ChiGong. I believe it’s called Cycle Sighing or Reverse Breathing in ChiGong. But Huberman’s approach made it more approachable!

So much of what our nervous system needs to maintain a baseline in the parasympathic is safety.
