• Try this Nervous System Regulation texhnique!

      First: Assess. Turn your head right and left and notice uour range of motion. Guage your ROM by what you can see.

      Next: with your eyes open, place your hands over your eyes to eliminate and cut out as much light as possible. Keeping your eyes open, take several cleansing breaths.

      Then: slowly uncover your eyes and take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth with sound or a sigh.

      Reassess: reassess your range of motion by turning your head right and left again. Notice if you have increased range of motion.

      Because neural input helps dictate movement, and we are constantly receiving massive amounts of input, or nervous system can be dysregulated, even when we think it’s not.
