Our first Crafty Crafty went off, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night. People showed up from all over, ready to create, connect, and just have a good time. We had artists, knitters, painters, doodlers, hell, even a woman who heard about us from her daughter all the way in Washington made the trip. That’s the kind of energy we’re building.

First up: Coffee Coffee, the real MVP of the night. They didn’t just let us use their space, they cleared it out and made it our playground. If you don’t already know, Coffee Coffee isn’t just about serving up great coffee (though, they do that). They actually care about people. About community. And that’s exactly what this event was about. Be sure to stop by their Merch Page for some sick local SWAG.
Huge thank you to Sand & Spur for bringing the heat with their Valentine’s Day stamping booth! Seriously some of the coolest valentines cards I’ve ever seen and we’re so grateful to have them share their art with us.
Shout out to Kenton Hoppas, who gave us a front-row seat to his creative process with live art in real-time. Watching someone make something from nothing, right there in front of us, is exactly what Crafty Crafty is about. Be sure to hit up Kenton for custom commissions and murals. He’s a local legend.
And of course, Muddhouse. Whether they’re throwing clay on a wheel or just letting people get their hands dirty, they always bring something special. Want to go get muddy? This crew has a beautiful studio right down the street from Coffee Coffee!
What Went Down
It was expressive. It was messy. It was alive.
Tables covered in art supplies. Music setting the mood. People bouncing ideas off each other, laughing, sharing, vibing. Everyone was working on their own thing, but somehow, we were all in it together.
Crafty Crafty isn’t about making perfect art. It’s about making. Whatever that looks like for you.

Same vibe, new twist. We’re keeping the creative energy going, but now, we’re throwing an open mic into the mix. Music, poetry, weird monologues, whatever you’ve got – bring it. Oh, and it also happens to be Daniel Tyack’s birthday, so if you need an excuse to come hang, there it is.
